What You’ll Be Doing:

SharePoint Administrator, Digital Workplace Experience

SharePoint Administrator is a remote position part of the Corporate Systems team as a part of Evolent’s Enterprise IT department. This position will report to the M365 Solutions Lead, Digital Workplace Experience.

The Administrator is accountable for implementation, support, administration, and maintenance of Evolent’s SharePoint environment (including OneDrive and Search Optimization). Day to Day tasks include but not limited to handling support tickets, producing reports, managing integrations, facilitating requirements and design sessions with functional users, end user training, and documenting system configurations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert design, development, implementation, and analysis support leveraging modern SharePoint Online functionalities and Microsoft best practices.

  • Excellent end user handling skills via email, chat and ticketing tool.

  • Troubleshoot problems experienced by SharePoint users and conducting collaborative participation with SharePoint engineers to resolve problems with the platform.

  • Collaborate on SharePoint maintenance processes.

  • Support SharePoint modernization of SharePoint Classic sites and Classic site pages.

  • Focus on capturing user analytics and Intranet traffic.

  • Analyze business processes identifying areas of redundancy, potential for re-use and consolidation, and process conflicts.

  • Provide input into SharePoint technologies training and best practice guidance documentation.

  • Be an expert in Microsoft Power Automate to design and build workflows to automate business processes.

  • Strong level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (One Note, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Forms).

  • Adhere to and advocates all requirements of IT Privacy and Security Policies and Procedures.

  • Ensure work meets functionality and quality expectations within given timelines.

  • Research, resolve, and respond to questions and concerns of end users and stakeholders in a timely manner.

  • Ability to make sound decisions using good judgement in varying scenarios with varying degrees of conflict specific to interactions with the end users, team and stakeholders.

  • Demonstrate ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks while employing time management and organizational skills.

  • An appetite to be in an environment where you will constantly learn, be challenged, and get energized by change.

  • Solid track record of achieving and exceeding performance and behavioral expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field, or equivalent experience.

  • 3-5years of SharePoint Online experience.

  • IT engineering understanding, M365 products, Azure Active Directory, security group, MFA, SSO and general cloud understanding.

  • Experience in other collaboration products and Microsoft Teams.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively.

  • Ability to build trust and form effective relationships with team members and business stakeholders.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Experience in building SharePoint Framework (SPFx9) solutions.

  • Familiarity with Yeoman and other SharePoint development tools.

  • Experience using migration tools like Sharegate.

Mandatory Requirements:

We require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router. These at-home technical requirements are subject to change with any scheduled re-opening of our office locations.
